On a legal level, the artwork will always belong to the artist, Katie Fox. The artist has
produced the work in question. Clients may own the physical work (if there is one) but
cannot take credit for the creation. Anything that the artist has created is not allowed to be
reproduced without my permission, especially for commercial purposes (advertisements,
t-shirts, etc). If you are interested in reproducing something that the artist has created,
written permission from the artist is required in all cases. Reposting is permitted if not
unavoidable, but credit is required to be given with each piece reposted elsewhere. It
would be appreciated if permission is obtained beforehand.

Change Making and Editing Procedures
Your commission is approved by you in a few stages. Once a sketch is produced, you will
be shown this work and at that time, will be able to make up to two revisions. This includes,
but of course is not limited to: changes such as hair length or style, minor outfit changes,
slight environmental changes, or changes to fingers/toes/ears/nose. If an entire redraw is
required, you will be subject to extra charges at the artist's discretion: $2.00 per minor
revision and $5.00 per major revision. These will be expected to be paid before moving on
and will be subject to paypal fees.

After the sketch has been satisfactorily approved, it will be inked. If the media is anything
other than digital, this means that revisions at this stage are nearly impossible. If a
complete redraw is required, you will be subject to a charge no more than the cost of a
basic sketch, at the artist's discretion. This charge can be paid at the time of the final
payment. The ink stage can be scanned and sent to you if you'd like, but is not done by
default. Please request this.

After the inks are completed, the work will be summarily moved to its final stage of
completion. If you would like a high-resolution scan, please request this as well. You will be
emailed a .jpg file of the completed image regardless, but will only receive a watermarked
version until final payment is received in full.

Payment Procedures
Half of your payment will be due once the sketch has been submitted for your approval and
any changes have been made. Payment will be expected within five (5) days of this stage.
Further progress will not be done until payment has been received.

The other half of your payment will be due upon completion of the artwork, plus any
shipping costs if applicable. Any fees incurred during the production process due to
alterations will be expected to be paid in full by this point. Payment for the final stage of the
artwork is due within seven (7) days of completion. Until payment is received, you will only
have a highly watermarked product in hand. Payment is, of course, much appreciated up
front (though not required) and as are tips (again, not required). Please feel free to do
either if you prefer.

The preferred method of payment is Paypal. There are fees associated with this and at least
one fee will be factored into your final estimate. It is humbly requested that with multiple
payments, additional fees are factored into each payment and paid by the client.

Other payment methods accepted are cash, check, or money order. Cash is at your own
risk. Work will not begin until a check clears or a money order is cashed. This can
sometimes take up to ten days. If you need to pay via this method, please contact the artist-
a mailing address will be provided.

Due Dates and Shipping
Due dates are not guaranteed under any circumstance. Works are finished as soon as
possible and several factors have a play in this. If the artist is contacted with a minimum of at
least two weeks in advance, the likelihood of the due date being complied with is much
higher. If you know you will need the work finished by a specific date when placing the order,
please consider placing the order a month or more in advance if at all possible. If there is a
specific date needed for completion, there may be extra shipping costs incurred for priority
mailing.

All works that require shipment will be mailed securely. The image, if sensitive to weather or
water, will be inside a plastic bag. The envelopes commonly used are padded but
sometimes will be regular manila envelopes. A piece of stabilizing cardboard will be shipped
with each work requiring one. For smaller items such as bookmarks and laminated small
badges, if a clip is not included, a regular letter sized envelope will be used.

For domestic mailing, products will be sent first-class U.S. Mail. If you require anything
different, please notify the artist so a more accurate quote can be obtained. If you require
special methods (a roll, a box, etc), other costs may be incurred as special materials are not
always stocked and cost more to ship. International shipments will require an estimate to be
obtained as it varies greatly from area to area. An extra cost of $2.00 is required to add
delivery confirmation or tracking. An extra cost of $3.00 is required to add insurance to the
package. Please notify the artist immediately if these services are required.

Refunds
Refunds can be given at any time, for any reason, at the artist's discretion. If you are
unsatisfied for any reason, a refund can be given but will only be partial if the work has
started. Your refund amount will be what you paid, minus the cost of the work already done.

If payment is not received within the limits stated above (5 days for sketches, 7 days for
completed pieces), the artist reserves the right to confiscate the work in question and refund
you what has been paid, minus the cost of the work already completed.
